Samsung Asia CEO Gregory Lee recently detailed the release of Galaxy S II, that will be coming to Singapore in April. No info on the exact launch date or price, but at least we have a time frame in mind and a reason to complain in case the product gets delayed.

We’ve seen this hot handset in action at MWC 2011 and even got to play with it. At the time it was the thinnest smartphone in the world, with a mere 8.49mm thickness and no one believed that it had the battery on during the trade show. People at the Samsung booth were even forced to show the battery removed from the device, since it was too light.

It remains to be seen whether or not this device comes with the Exynos or Tegra 2 processor, or if it will lack NFC or feature it. The rest of the specs are pretty appealing: 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.3, WiFi, Bluetooth and more.
