Information coming from Finland is showing that the Nokia N9 model is quite a hit in its homeland. Nokia Con-Suomi is saying that the line at the N9 launch in the Helsinki Nokia Store was so big that it reached the street.

Meanwhile, tech sites are mentioning a huge demand for the first and last MeeGo smartphone, that we saw introduced in early June. Nokia Conversations is reporting that all the 64GB units of the new Nokia are already reserved, so tough luck here, if you’re searching for huge storage. We remind you that the 16GB N9 is supposed to cost 0, if our info is correct.

Considering that last we heard, Nokia was making under 100k units of the N9, it’s hard to say what the volume of sales is, considering the low number of available units. Some will jump to the story and make it into  journalistic scoop by comparing the device to the iPhone 4 and Galaxy S II, but that’s certainly not the case here…
