Seventy-four percent of developer respondents said iOS was the “least fragmented” platform, while only 11 percent described Android as such.

  • 76 percent of developers favor iOS (iPhone, iPod touch and iPad) as being better for short term moneymaking while 19 percent like Android today
  • 56 percent of developers favor Android’s long-term outlook as a platform for earning money while 37 percent believe iOS is better poised.
  • 88 percent like Apple’s App Store for the best store front whereas Android Market is preferred by 10 percent of developers.
  • 74 percent think iOS is the least fragmented platform with only 11 percent looking at Android in the same light.
