T-Mobile continues to expand their 4G network as they push towards their goal of blanketing 200 million users by the end of the year. As of today, T-Mobile’s HSPA+ network is in 80 metro markets thanks to the carrier flipping the switch on eight new markets. As many of you know, T-Mobile recently decided to brand this network as 4G, which set off a firestorm of web activity and advertising campaigns. Say whatever you want, call it whatever you want. All we care is that it’s fast. Looking ahead to next year, T-Mobile plans to bump speeds up to 42Mbps for you data heavy users!
New metro markets with T-Mobile’s 4G speeds:
- Detroit, Michigan
- Grand Junction, Colorado
- Harlingen, Texas
- Lafayette, Indiana
- South Bend, Indiana
- Montgomery, Alabama
- Roanoke-Lynchburg, Virginia
- Youngstown, Ohio
