Sony Ericsson has been showing off some pretty high spec XPERIA models lately, but what’s happened to the smaller models? The mini series will get a new member, if we’re to believe pointing towards the existence of the XPERIA mini2 model. Here it is, pictured in a blurry shot:

No specs were made available with the leak sadly, but GSMArena speculates that the handset could have the same features as the XPERIA mini pro2, except for the keyboard. This means that we should expect a 3 inch HVGA screen to be on board, together with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and an Adreno 205 GPU.

These are the same specs as the ones on more modern models, like the XPERIA Play, Neo and Pro, but they will be integrated in a more compact and cheap package.
