Samsung has just announced a new member of Galaxy series, the Neo model, that will only be available in Korea. We’re dealing with an upper midrange handset, one that has the design similar to the Galaxy Ace, while the back panel looks more like the one of the Galaxy Tab.

Samsung Galaxy Neo comes with a WVGA screen, T-DMB support, Bluetooth 3.0 and a 3 megapixel camera without autofocus. This handset also uses a 800 MHz processor, 512MB RAM and it runs Android 2.2 Froyo. The other specs are pretty regular and include WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, a 3.5mm audio jack and a 1,500 mAh battery.

These specs make the handset fit between the I9001 Galaxy S Plus and the Galaxy Ace, so for the right price and if it leaves Korea, this unit could be a hit.
