Ever felt that your Motorola Droid RAZR unit is too thin and too light? Well, there’s another version of the device, that’s been showcased today at CES 2012, in Las Vegas and it’s dubbed Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx. Expect it on Verizon soon enough and the biggest upgrade here is the one of the battery, that’s now a unit capable of providing an incredible 21 hours of talk time.
Verizon promotes this as the “longest lasting smartphone on the block”. The 16GB version will go for 9.99 with a 2 year contract and the 32GB flavor will set you back 9.99 with contract. You can choose between a black and purple RAZR Maxx and in case you’re wondering that batttery has an effect on the chassis thickness, that’s now 8.99mm. The rest of the specs are unchanged and include a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and a 4.3 inch qHD display.
