We’d heard whispers off and on for a few weeks now that PayPal integration was coming to the Android Market.  Long a desired Google Checkout alternative, PayPal would open up big doors for Android developers and fans alike.  So when is it coming?  It already did.  And then it didn’t.

The PayPal blog posted an article late last night that they would be offering payment options in the Android Market to folks looking to purchase applications.  Unfortunately, the blog post was quickly removed.  Thankfully, Google cached the article for the world to see.

Our guess is that PayPal was slightly ahead of the gun and we’ll see an announcement out of Google and Paypal soon.  Maybe perhaps as early as today as this marks the final day of PayPal’s Innovate 2010 Conference.
