Motorola’s Droid series will get yet another member, it seems, so after the Droid RAZR there will be another model with a sliding QWERTY keyboard. I’m talking about the Motorola Droid 4, that has just leaked in the following pictures and it’s supposed to be a sliding keyboard version of the RAZR.

This smartphone comes with 4G LTE connectivity and keeps the design of the RAZR, at least partially. Let’s see what thickness this model will have, considering the RAZR is a mere 7.1mm thick. It could reach 9mm, that would stick make the Droid 4 a hot product. Also, one might remember that Motorola recently promised to unveil new devices as soon as 6 weeks after Google rolls out the first Android 4.0 upgrade.

These new devices are all Ice cream Sandwich material, so that’s most likely what’s running on the Motorola Droid 4. The handset is supposed to come with a 4 inch Super AMOLED display, a full 5 row illuminated keyboard, an 8 megapixel camera with 1080p video recording, a front camera, HDMI out and MotoACTV syncing. The problem here is that this appealing unit might cannibalize the sales of the RAZR if it launches too soon…
