Huawei Ascend P1 has barely hit the market and there’s already an upgraded follow-up out there, the Ascend P1 LTE, that was just unveiled. The handset will be coming exclusively to the UK via the EE carrier and other operators are expected to get the product as well. Ascend P1 LTE offers a 2000 mAh battery and a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, plus 1 GB of RAM.
It also has an 8 megapixel camera, a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED qHD display and Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection. Huawei Ascend P1 LTE is promoted as the device compatible with the highest number of frequency bands and it’s being tested on networks all over Europe, Latin America, North America, Asia Pacific and more. The device is able to reach data transmission rates of up to 100 Mbit/s, that surpasses HSDPA level. Its specs list also includes 4 GB of ROM and the screen is of the Super AMOLED kind.
I can’t say much has changed about the specs of this model, compared to the Huawei Ascend P1 and I can’t understand why they’re launching an upgrade so soon. Anyway, LG is doing the same thing with the LG Optimus Vu 2, launching weeks after the Optimus Vu 1, so why bother criticizing them? It’s their market…
