Verizon has issued a press release officially confirming what was leaked earlier this month.  The Motorola Citrus handset announced in October will go on sale tomorrow, November 11th.  The smart phone has a very attractive .99 price tag (after 0 mail-in rebate) for customers signing a new, two-year service agreement.

The touch only phone runs Android 2.1 and features a 528MHz processor, a 3.0-in. QVGA touch screen, and a 3-megapixel camera..  Other details include up to 100MB memory on board, a 2 GB microSD pre-installed, support for WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and more.  If you know someone looking to make a jump from feature phone to smart phone, we recommend the Citrus as a good place to start.
