Samsung has got a new budget Android device coming to Sprint soon and this is the D600 model we’re talking about. Pictured below, the unit comes with a 1GHz CPU, unknown display diagonal and a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels, plus a 3.2 megapixel camera.

Interestingly enough, this midrange model runs Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread, an OS that other bigshot phones are still waiting for. Also, it comes with WiMAX support, which is always a bonus. Sprint could sell the unit for around 0 on contract, a bargain for a taste of Gingerbread and WiMAX. Samsung is once again covering all areas of products, with the Galaxy S Mini, Galaxy S 2 covering both the mid and high end segments.

Now, there’s another option, also from Samsung and once again affordable for the people who want a taste of Android, but not the dual core strength as well.
