Courtesy of Gizmodo Brazil we have the opportunity to have a glance of what look like a bunch of live pics of the Samsung Galaxy S III. Launching on May 3rd, this supposed quad core flagship looks uglier than we expected, at least in these pictures. Or maybe it’s because the device is wrapped in plastic and the photo is blurry…

It’s interesting to see a leak of the newest Samsung smartphone coming from the country that now has a Foxconn plant making iPhones and also a street named Steve Jobs. Gizmodo Brazil’s source says that the device is thinner and heavier than expected and that it packs a 12 megapixel camera. Recent rumors also said that the handset comes with a 1080p display and a quad core processor, most likely of the Exynos kind. No info about the case, that two months ago was pegged to be made of ceramic. Seeing how well that worked out for HTC’s One series, I doubt it…

The same Brazilian source says that the serial number of the phone is Samsung GT-I9300, that’s actually associated with the Galaxy M, according to GSMArena. However, the source is pretty confident that this is the Galaxy S III and supporting their claim is last month’s leak of a press photo from Netherlands, that showed us a similar Galaxy S III.
