After confirming the fact that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus really has a volume bug, now Google comes out and announces that a fix is coming sometime next week. The usual OTA delivery method will be used, so you best keep an eye on your handset for a week or so, that is if you own a Galaxy Nexus by accident…

The problem has been found as being caused by 900MHz RF interference, so everything should be peachy when Google starts releasing the required software. Well, all I can do is be thankful that this is not a hardware issue, else it would have been impossible to remedy in time. Well, they could always say that “you’re holding it wrong”, but that doesn’t quite fit the “Don’t be evil” Google mantra, right?

Now let’s see what other defects people will find on this 720p Android 4.0 handset, that promises to make Christmas happy both for Samsung and Google… If those prices were a bit lower, though… It’s really hard to choose a LTE phone from Verizon these days, since so many are hot.
