So I dropped my phone pretty bad, and the screen didn’t crack, but it turned white with fuzzy spots and cracks (but the physical screen isn’t cracked). There’s a bunch of scratches on the body of the phone but other than that, it looks pretty normal until the screen lights up.

I tried to get it fixed through Rogers because if I didn’t, the warranty would be void. I took it to three stores after calling Tech Support six times but apparently, none of the stores will ship out blackberries for fixing. They didn’t give me a reason, just said they didn’t do it, while Tech Support claims they do.

Anyhow, I called a few other stores outside my range and the employee there told me to call Rogers again (after he told me that they don’t fix Blackberries or send them out and that I would have to take them to a local tech to get it fixed) and leave out the part that I dropped it. I didn’t do that and went to another Rogers store to get it sent out for repairs, and the guy said call them and they will give you a new one; we don’t do blackberries.

I did, and they are sending me a replacement phone. Deal is, I don’t want to be charged for a refurbished phone after they determine mine is dropped, but at the same time, I just want a working blackberry. If they deem it my fault, is there anyway I could argue this? Anyone been through this thing before? I tried to google it and it seems everyone has different results. Some people tell them they drop their phones and get away with it and others don’t even do it themselves and end up paying for their replacement phone.

We’ve been with them for a long time, but I’m not sure that makes a difference. Main point is I followed the instructions of the guy at the store and I tried to get it fixed only no one would do it for me. Does that even sound like a valid reason? I would have to admit to intentionally leaving out information…
