Phone Arena has a reliable tipster saying that Amazon is preparing two tablets, one based on a quad core CPU and called Hollywood. This sounds incredible and it turns out that there’s another model in the making, an entry level one that uses the dual core Tegra 2 CPU and is called Coyote.

Amazon Hollywood still needs some work before becoming production-ready, since it uses the Nvidia Kal-El quad core chipset, that will be available in Q3 according to Nvidia. Meanwhile, the lower end Amazon Coyote tablet is ready and we might see it on the market this summer, if everything goes well.

We’ve heard that Amazon was supposed to work with Samsung or Quanta Computers on their tablets and smartphones, but that’s yet to be confirmed.
