Since I’ve had the opportunity of reviewing the Nokia X7 last week, the comparison with previously analyzed models such as the N8 came to mind. Luckily, some guys had already thought of that and they did the comparison video below.

It shows that Symbian Anna is faster than the PR1.2, but not in a very significant way. The only time you actually feel the improvement is when you load a page in the web browser, that’s clearly been enhanced, but now when it comes to design/looks. However, there are times when PR1.2 is actually faster than Anna, like the in video editing menu, for example.

Having tested the X7 I can say that Symbian is far from perfect, as it still suffers from lag, but it’s a step in the right direction. I wouldn’t recommend opening more than 6 memory-intensive apps, though…
