Nokia Lumia 900 has been criticized by US bloggers for launching on Easter Sunday, when most AT&T stores weren’t available, but they made up for that marketing decision through a debut on Amazon.com this Monday. Lumia 900 sales are split between two color versions, the black version on the number one spot and the blue one on the second.

A Windows Phone on top of Amazon in the sales area?! That’s certainly rare and reflected by the incredible price tag from AT&T and Amazon’s extra subsidy and special offers. The Nokia Lumia 900 became available on April 8th and you may want to know that it comes with a 1.4 GHz processor, a 4.3 inch ClearBlack AMOLED display and AT&T 4G LTE compatibility. Amazon’s charts listed the handset on the number one spot and the number 3 during presales, but in the meantime the black and cyan models of the Lumia 900 became first and second on the list.

And keep in mind that we’re in the time frame when the HTC One series is launching, so people instead of holding on to their money and waiting for the beautiful 4.7 inch HD One X, they preferred the Windows Phone-based new Lumia. It must have been those hundreds of million of dollars pushing the 4.3 inch Windows Phone device with 8MP camera to the top of the charts. Or maybe it’s just the price…
