Nokia 700 is among the first Symbian Belle phones out there and our first Belle handset here at GSMDome.com. Right now we can show you the unboxing of the device, but rest assured that a detailed review is coming in the following days. The first contact showed me an incredibly light handset, that’s actually described by Nokia as “the smallest smartphone”.

Nokia 700 is available inside a flat blue box, the usual for the Finns and the package includes a charger, manuals, microUSB cable and headphones. The battery cover of the phone is easy to open, but the SIM is a bit hard to insert in the tight slot available on the Belle handset. The design of the Nokia 700 is very light and thin, so this can be described as a gadget for the young business person.

Symbian Belle is finally a breath of fresh air and the icons and interface finally look new and modern, almost to the level of the MeeGo experience on the N9. Of course, there’s the occasional lag or bug, but more will be debated about that in the full review, that will come in a couple of days. In the meantime here’s the unboxing video:
