After yesterday’s rumor about the teardrop shaped iPhone 5 with an August debut, today Bloomberg has some serious sources saying that the launch will go down in September after all. Also, we find out that the new iPhone borrows the A5 processor from the iPad and packs an 8 megapixel camera.

The people who revealed these details asked to not be named, because the info isn’t public yet. It seems that Apple is also testing a new iPad, with a higher resolution display that’s very much like the Retina Display on the iPhone 4. The new iPhone will run on iOS 5 and we’ve yet to find out if it will feature that edge to edge display that we keep hearing about and if it’s 3.7 inches in diagonal or maybe 4, as rumored.

As far as design goes, we’re to expect looks similar to the iPhone 4, although yesterday’s speculations mentioned a totally revamped case. Apple is supposed to have pushed back the release of the iPhone 4S or iPhone 5 to coincide with the launch of iOS 5, thus breaking the tradition of unveiling a new iPhone in early June…
