The folks of TmoNews have managed to score some hands-on photos of the fresh (and upcoming) T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide handset. This sliding smartphone comes with a HTC Sense widget it seems and it’s running Android 2.3 Gingerbread, according to people who saw it upclose.

HTC Sense has been customized for the myTouch experience and according to recent leaked info, the myTouch 4G Slide model could be launched on July 6. Supposedly, this model comes with a very nice keyboard and the device is incredibly fast, so maybe there’s a dual core CPU inside. The input method on the smartphone was compared to the one of the G2, that was recently discontinued by T-Mobile, probably to make room for the newcomer.

We remind you that this model was also known as the HTC Doubleshot, and it was leaked on the web in that way and also reached the FCC under the same moniker. Imagine a dual core CPU, plus the latest HTC Sense and a QWERTY keyboard – that’s a killer combo right here.
