Motorola’s going to bring something that’s both old and new at MWC 2011: a clamshell phone with style. We’re talking about the Motorola Gleam, that’s pictured below and detailed in the video at the end. Meant for the European market, the handset looks very much like the good old RAZR, that made Moto a world-recognized brand.

With a 13.9mm thin waistline, the 2.4 inch QVGA phone uses an LED matrix on the outer side of the case, that will keep you up to date with missed calls, texts and appointments. The features of the device are pretty basic: 2MP camera, microUSB port and a microSD card slot for up to 16GB of extra storage.

Moto Gleam will be available in the first half of 2011 in thistle, lacquer red and graphite gray.
