Motorola has just announced a new affordable handset, dubbed Wilder and coming with an incredible price at The Carphone Warehouse. The product will reach the retailer next month with a price tag. This is a device aimed at young people, who like social networking and a resilient handset.

Motorola Wilder is both splash and dust resilient and it was rumored a while ago, under the codename EX130. Its specs include a 2.8 inch resistive touchscreen, a secondary OLED single row screen and a 2 megapixel camera. The secondary screen will display notifications and other basic info.

Photos taken with the camera can be uploaded straight to Facebook, Myspace of Twitter, while videos can reach YouTube. Full HTML browsing is available on the Wilder, courtesy of Opera Mini, that comes preinstalled together with a bunch of games. MicroSD card slot is also on the specs list, together with a 3.5mm audio jack.
