Not only Sony and Samsung may be unveiling something at IFA 2012 in Berlin, but also LG, that has just teased a new smartphone model with a quad core processor belonging to a new generation. Recently Qualcomm confirmed that LG will be one of the companies adopting their brand new quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU.

LG just posted a teaser detailing a bit the newcomer model, but they don’t reveal much and if they do it’s hidden in the subtleties, but since I don’t know Korean, I can’t really tell. Anyway, the video doesn’t reveal much, but what’s sure is that LG is preparing a handset, that could be related to the LG Optimus LTE 2, LG Eclipse 4G and Optimus G, all of them leaked or rumored recently. Seeing that LG was the first to announce a quad core Tegra 3 handset and it took them many months to launch it, I hope they’ll handle this release in a quicker way.

It’s possible that they may choose IFA 2012 Berlin to unveil their product, but I can’t guarantee that. Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro is already receiving high praise, because of its high performance in benchmarks and real world functioning. Aside from the quad core chipset, I also expect the inclusion of 2GB of RAM, LTE, a 4.7 inch True HD screen and a kickass 13 megapixel camera.
