After numerous leaks and even a Russian review, the LG Nexus 4 is finally official, kind of… An LG official confirmed the existence of the device at an Optimus Vu launch in India. LG’s head of Mobile Product Planning was the one to confirm it for the debut on October 29th, when the Google event takes place.

Also, it appears that the new Nexus phone will debut in India in late November. This means that we’ll have a faster launch than usual, with the Nexus phones usually taking quite some time to arrive internationally. Of course, it could be just a remark made by an LG official, maybe not knowing Google plans, but it sounds plausible. I have to remind you that the LG Nexus 4 is the twin of the LG Optimus G with some changes in the specs and design area.

LG Nexus 4 brings a design similar to the Galaxy Nexus, an 8 megapixel camera, 8/16GB of storage, a quad core Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU and 2 GB of RAM. It’s also supposed to run Android 4.2, an OS that should debut on the 29th this month, during a special event where more Nexus phones are supposed to appear.
