Although the LG Genesis dual screen smartphone was already detailed weeks ago and confirmed for US Cellular, the carrier has yet to announce the product. Well, at least LG has the device on its site, complete with press shots, details and specifications.

We also have to mention that this original handset comes with two touchscreens and a full physical QWERTY keyboard. It’s strange that LG revealed all details, while US Cellular has nothing on this story, but we suppose that by the end of the month we’ll see it in stores.

Reasons to get the phone we can find plenty, including the 1GHz Qualcomm CPU, the two screens with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, one with a diagonal of 3.5 inches and the other with a 3.2 inch one. The camera on board is a 5MP unit and the device also supports WiFi, 3G, DLNA and comes with an 8GB memory card preinstalled. Android 2.2 Froyo is the OS of choice.
