Japanese site Macotakara is claiming that following the official announcement of the iPhone 5 on October 4th, the sales of the device will start on October 14th, at least in the UK, US, Germany and France. Japan is also included on the first and this initial rollout is one directed to 5 countries.

We’ve yet to learn if we’ll see the iPhone 5, iPhone 4S or both on Tuesday, but at least we can speculate the date when our piggy banks will be open for purchases. Previously, we’ve heard a similar rumor from Orange France CEO Stephane Richard, who hinted at a potential iPhone 5 debut in the carrier’s stores n October 15th.

Richard however said that widespread speculation brought the info to him, to avoid any problems with Apple. A more solid hint comes straight from the Cupertino giant, that blocked staff leave on the 14th and 15th of the next month. I’m really curios what Apple will unveil next Tuesday, aside from the new iPhone… are you?
