Huawei was also present in Berlin, at IFA 2012, where it announced the Ascend G600 handset, available next month in select markets. The G600 features a 4.5 inch qHD display, Android 4.0.4 and a dual core 1.2 GHz processor, as well as 4 GB of onboard storage. The device also sports the brand new Emotion UI.

Huawei Ascend G600 will be available in Mysterious Black or Pure White and it also packs an 8 megapixel BSI camera with autofocus, dual speakers with DTS surround sound and a LCD IPS HD panel for the screen. Under the hood we find a 1930 mAH Li-Polymer battery and Huawei promises a full charge in 4 hours, power on in 5 seconds and 15 days of standby functioning. The phone also offers WiFi Direct, Bluetooth, DLNA, 768 MB of RAM, microUSB 2.0 connectivity and a microSD slot too.

The phone has a glossy finish shell, like the P1 and its screen gets Gorilla Glass protection. This model costs 5 and it will reach the stores in September, with NFC. The newcomer measures 10.5 mm in thickness and in case you’re wondering, the new Emotion UI skin for Android has a uni Home screen, that integrates both the typical homescreen and the app drawer in a single place. Apps can be arranged into folders and deleting an app icon also uninstalls it now. You also get 6 preinstalled fresh themes for the phone.
