After the HTC Edge quad core phone leak and the promise that HTC will unveil a quad core tablet at MWC 2012, here comes another four core product from the same company. I’m talking about the HTC Zeta, a device that just got rendered, as you can see below.

This model seems to go back to the unibody design and it also comes with sharp edges, instead of the rounded look of other modern day HTC units. The new handset is supposed to feature a 2.5GHz APQ8064 quad core processor, 1GB of RAM, a 4.5 inch 720p screen and Android Ice Cream Sandwich with a version of the Sense UI. I assume it’s version 4.0 we’re dealing with here.

Zeta also features 32GB of internal memory, a 1,830 mAh battery, Beats Audio, just like all new HTC smartphones, plus Bluetooth 4.0 and an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and support for 1080p video capture. There’s also a 1.3 megapixel camera upfront and the smartphone is supposed to measure 9.8mm in thickness, while weighing around 146 grams. Pricing and launch date are unknown, but early 2012 is a safe bet.
