I’m sure you know by now that there will be two versions of the HTC One X handset out there: a quad core one and a LTE dual core one for the USA. The quad core Tegra 3 version already has a launch date for the UK. Local carrier O2 confirmed via Twitter that they’ll release the quad core newcomer on April 5th.

No pricing has been released just yet, but I expect them to pop up pretty soon. Phones4U, another UK retailer is even taking preorders right now for the HTC One X and the One S. The One S might also launch in April, considering it also popped up as an unit that can be preordered. Both new models are the latest in smartphone technology from HTC, including Android 4.0, the ImageSense tech for the cameras, HTC Sense 4.0 UI and top notch CPU power.

HTC One X packs a 4.7 inch 720p S LCD2 display, 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, plus an 8 megapixel camera. HTC One S is a tad smaller, at 4.3 inches and uses a Super AMOLED qHD Screen, plus a 1.5GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 processor. I’ve heard that these models have been delayed because the factories making Snapdragon CPUs are on halt now… so will they come in April?
