HTC’s Gingerbread-based Desire S smartphone has now reached the most important 5 British carriers. We’re talking about Three, Orange, and T-Mobile, that are offering the handset for free, on 35 quid contracts, while Vodafone and O2 offer the device for free, with 30 and 27 quid contracts, respectively.

T-Mobile sells the silver version of the handset, the one pictured above, while any other carrier will most likely sell the standard black version. The Carphone Warehouse provides you with a free Desire S on contract with any of these providers, for the very little 25 quid a month. We remind you that this is a 3.7 inch smartphone, with a 480 x 800 pixel resolution, 1GHz processor and a 5MP camera with 720p HD video capture.

Will you be getting one?
