I have a client with a BlackBerry who wants to receive emails that are sent to an account on his website’s domain (hosted by BlueHost) on his BlackBerry instantly. His web host doesn’t offer Push email. We’ve had him on IMAP for a while and the occasional fifteen minute delays are unacceptable.

I’ve suggested forwarding incoming mail to his BIS email address, but he doesn’t want his replies coming from the @blackberry address. He wants his clients and associates to see his domain name in the from line.

…seems like a simple enough, and common enough desire for a small business owner to have, but I’ve searched plenty of forums today without finding an answer.

I don’t really know much in the way of BlackBerry, having never owned one, so I’m asking for your simplest solution.

My first thought: Is there some configuration that will allow my client to reply to emails received through his BIS address via his own domain, such that his desired email address will appear as the sender?

My second thought: My searches seem to suggest that he may need a BES account to pull this off. True? If he will, please recommend a provider.
