We’ve heard that a Google+ iPhone app was in the approval stage at Apple, but now we have solid proof about that. The images below show the application running on an iPhone 4, courtesy of Hiraldo Hierro, a Google engineer.

The app looks very much like the Android counterpart, so that’s a good thing if you’re already used to it on another device. The bad thing is that both apps have pretty ugly icons, to be honest and something could be done to change those. It’s too bad that you have a great app and service, but poor graphics.

Keep in mind that we’re still waiting for Apple to approve the app, so nothing is for sure just yet. They might even reject it…
