Finally, the wait is over.  Angry Birds has come out of beta and finds itself available to Android phones all over.  If you count yourself among those with a device running 1.6 or higher with OpenGL ES 2.0 support, you’ll be pleased to find the app is free to download.  Rovio says they are working on adding support for QVGA devices in the near future so sit tight if you cannot enjoy the game.  Currently, the only way to get Angry Birds is to download it from GetJar, however distribution through Android Market and SHOP4APPS (Motorola) is in the works.
