Japanese firm Disney Mobile has just launched a handset for the lovers of the Disney brand. Meet the DM011SH, a sliding Android phone with a waterproof case and mid to high end specifications that are most likely accompanied by a reasonable price tag.

The device comes content associated to the Walt Disney characters, a lot of funky themes, interactive books and whatnot. Keep in mind that this phone is made by Sharp and that it comes with W-CDMA connectivity, Android 2.3 and a 3.4 inch display with 854 x 480 pixel resolution. Add to that an 8 megapixel CMOS camera with autofocus, a microSD card slot and a TV tuner and you’ve got every kid’s dream in Japan.

A bonus that’s very important in these unsafe days is the warning system for earthquakes and disasters embedded into the handset. Other feats include WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, infrared, DLNA, NFC and GPS. What’s the maximum age for an owner for such a phone? What do you think?
