DigiTimes is reporting on Android tablets yet again.  According to their sources, Google recently notified their partners that Android 3.0 will be completed and tablet samples will start arriving in December.  This is fantastic news for anyone going to CES in January, hoping to get a glimpse at presumably dozens of Android tablets.  DigiTimes claims that Samsung is expected to have a Galaxy Tab running 3.0 at the big electronics expo where Acer, Asustek, HTC, and Micro-Start International plan to launch their own tablets.  Samples are great, but I want to know when I can start buying a 3.0 tablet!

Android 4.0 is being tapped with a 2H ’11 release which sounds about right to us.  We heard back in the summer that Google plans to slow the release cycle to around once per year so this matches up nicely.
