Yesterday we found out that all major US carriers, such as AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular will release the Samsung Galaxy S III, each with their own version of the device. Today AT&T offers some more details on the handset and its special offer.

AT&T will offer preorders for the phone starting June 6th and they’ve announced a price tag of 0, obviously with contract. They’ll also sell this model in red and packing a dual core Snapdragon S4 processor. Three color options will be available in total and the 0 price tag applies to the 16GB model alone. Shipping dates and retailer availability haven’t been announced yet. It appears that AT&T will ONLY be selling the 16GB unit, so if you want a 32GB one, maybe other US carriers will sell it.

This will be a 4G LTE phone and if you want extra storage, AT&T stores will have a special offer of for a 16GB microSD card. Let me remind you that the Galaxy S III features a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display, an ultra thin bezel and a 1.5 GHz dual core powerful CPU. I can’t guarantee this unit will come with 2GB of RAM, as I’ve heard some models will, but it’s very likely.
