How about a LTE phone with QWERTY keyboard to lighten up the day? I’m talking about the Samsung Stratosphere, shown in the image below and supposed to come to Verizon on October 13. This is the carrier’s first LTE phone with a full physical QWERTY keyboard.
This is Android 2.3 Gingerbread model with a 4 inch 480 x 800 Super AMOLED display, a 1GHz CPU, a 5 megapixel autofocus camera at the back with 480p video capture and a front 1.3 megapixel camera. There’s also WiFi on board, Bluetooth 3.0, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a bundled 4GB card for extra memory.
Verizon will sell the Samsung Stratosphere for 9.99 with a new 2 year contract, after a mail in rebate. Word has it that the contract will set you back at least .99 each month for voice, plus or more for data. After all, this is 4G LTE you’re getting here… so it comes with a cost, right?
