We’ve just received the Nokia 500 handset for testing purposes and we’re having fun with this Symbian Anna phone as we speak. Right now we can show you its unboxing, that reveals the same blue box that Nokia always offers us. You’ll find out what’s inside the box after the break:

Nokia 500 comes with two extra colored jackets, a blue and red one, aside from the standard black one, so you can mount those case pieces at the back, at your own pleasure. Inside the box there’s the charger, manuals, microUSB cable and headphones. The phone seems to have a bit of lag when starting up and I can’t wait to see it updated to Nokia Belle, so I’ll give the update a try in the following days. Priced at a bit above 0, this model is in the midrange segment for sure.

The device offers 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM, it weighs 93 grams and measures a bulky 14.1mm in thickness. It has HSDPA, WiFi and Bluetooth available and its brain is a 1GHz ARM 11 processor. I’ll find out how good this phone is in the following days… Till then watch the unboxing below!
