We’ve got good news and bad news. Turns out that Sony Ericsson has a new Walkman model. The bad news is that this new model is not at all new, since it’s basically a rebranded Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 model. The info comes from Germany, where the device was spotted.

We’re dealing with the same X8, with a 3 inch touchscreen and 320 x 480 pixel resolution, but now gone musical, if you can call it that. Also, the device uses a 600MHz processor, 168MB of RAM and Android 2.1. Well, if you’re a nostalgic, you’ll love rocking this Walkman in your pocket. However, if you already bought an Xperia Play… there’s no point for buying the Sony Ericsson W8, right?
