For those who have purchased a BlackBerry Torch 9800, or currently have a device that is running OS 6 they may have ran into a bit of a problem. Currently App World shows themes that are not at all compatible with OS 6.
We don’t doubt that those people are pretty upset if they purchased a theme for their Torch and come to find out it doesn’t work. The new theme builder should hopefully solve all of this for OS 6 devices.
We’re told that the new theme builder should release sometime around DevCon. It will be very interesting to see how themes work on OS 6 given the new pages slide transition and other features far different from OS 5. Are you looking forward to themes on your Torch or OS 6 device?
