After spotting the BlackBerry Monaco in a leaked RIM roadmap for its CDMA devices and now it seems the device that was at some point also called Monza will be known as BlackBerry Touch. According to BGR, this handset will serve as a successor to the Storm models and it will come with a huge touchscreen, if the live pics below are to be believed.

Taking into account the latest report, we find that Monza and Monaco are in fact two different handsets, with the first coming to AT&T with GSM support and the second being CDMA material for Verizon. BlackBerry Touch is not yet confirmed as the final naming pattern for the device in these pics, but it seems pretty believable.

The smartphone runs BlackBerry OS 6.1 and comes with an interesting feature: BlackBerry ID login instead of the standard PIN. Also, the OS and ID could be linked to the cloud services. We expect the device to be announced at BlackBerry World in May, together with the Bold Touch, Curve Touch and Torch 2 models.
