Am new to the forum world, but wanted to share my experience of BesX. a friend of mine recommended BB forums. Recently I was requested to submit a write up of my BesX update. Please see below and let me know what you think. I am happy with it, but had some installing issues….anyone else?

‘The download and install to a creaking SBS 2008 environment took around three hours in total, and was pretty straightforward.
I wasn’t impressed with the amount of information BlackBerry needed to let me get the free download, and I got tripped up slightly when configuring the web server. However, for such a complex download I was impressed with how simple the step by step setup process was. In use I found BesX’s web-based GUI easy to get to grips with. It’s certainly an improvement over the interface on older versions of BES I’ve used. Web Desktop Manager was especially useful. Anything that hands back control of more boring tasks to users saves IT time. Working in a small business, BesX offers me all the control I need to run our BlackBerrys. Larger companies may need some of the more complex settings of full BlackBerry Enterprise Server.’
