A company called Fly recently introduced a brand new dual SIM lower end smartphone with a 1 GHz CPU. This model is the Fly IQ 255 Pride, that also packs a GPS module and support for WiFi and 3G. The device relies on Android 2.3.6 and it will be available at the end of the current month, priced at 0.

The handset measures 11.6 mm in thickness, weighs 168 grams and uses a 3.95 inch HVGA resolution display. At the back there’s a 3 megapixel camera, while the specs list of the 255 Fly IQ Pride includes FM Radio, 512MB of ROM and RAM, a microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.1. Micro USB and a 3.5mm audio jack are obviously here, as well as the Li-Ion 1600 mAh battery.

The phone is only available in Russia for now and it comes with the classic 4 capacitive buttons below the display, typical for Android Gingerbread. Don’t expect Ice Cream Sandwich on this device, like… ever.
