Not wanting to be left behind by the AIO hordes, Acer has unveiled a trio of new options for your spick and span desktop. The higher-end AZ5 provides a 23-inch expanse of full HD, multi-touch glory, a minimum Core i3-2120 processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 1TB HDD, all for the sum of 0. Next up is the AZ3, which saves you 0 by cutting the screen size to 21 inches, switching to an AMD dual-core A4 APU (along with a discreet Radeon HD6410) and slimming the HDD down to 500GB. Both models come with an adjustable stand, two side-mounted USB 3.0 ports (plus four USB 2.0 ports on the rear) and a built-in webcam and mic. Meanwhile, Acer’s new Veriton all-in-ones target enterprise users who are prepared to sacrifice those high-def media credentials in favor of better performance and a smaller, more office-friendly footprint — the 20-inch Z2620G, for instance, packs a Core i5-2400s quad-core processor and NVIDIA GeFore GT 520M GPU for 0. All the new models are available in densely populated areas as of right now, and you’ll find more details in the PR after the break.

We started to see the first ICS ROMs on a few devices but for the majority, ports are not available just yet. In the meantime, you can test a launcher that simulates the UI of the upcoming OS. It features:
- ICS Wallpaper Chooser with 9 wallpapers
– Hide Notification Bar (Gesture/Swipe up)
– ICS Settings
– ICS Styled Google Search Bar
– Icy Blue ICS Analog clock
– Hide Labels
It claims that if you have a proper set up, the launcher is extremely fast and smooth.
So, if you can´t wait for ICS, this a is good placebo in the meantime, which you can find it in the usual place.
Let the dev know about your experiences with the launcher by leaving a comment. Thanks for reading.

In case you weren’t aware, Apple’s sold a whole lot of iPad 2s, so aside from the couple of bezel color choices or adding a Smart Cover, there’s not much you can do to make your tablet stand out from the crowd. Well, now there’s another option for the well-heeled gadget lover. Stuart Hughes is back with another custom gadget for the economic elites called the iPad 2 Gold History Edition. It’s got a solid gold backside, an Apple logo and home button crafted from a total of 65 flawless diamonds, plus a bezel crafted from Ammolite rock and slivers of thigh bone from a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Between all that ice and prehistoric bling, there won’t be a problem picking this iPad out of a lineup. What is a problem (for most of us, anyway) is the price: eight million dollars. We dig the dino look and all, but that’s an awfully hefty entrance fee — we’d rather buy a stock slate and take a few dozen trips to the final frontier instead.

I have been accused by a person as a stalker, I have been butt dialing lots of people in my contact file, I just now found out that all of them were in a speed dial file, how they even got a speed dial assigned to them was unknown to me until I read the directions, and found a speed dial file. The party who is accusing me of this said that I dialed her and then my repeated calls came in as ‘unknown caller or unknown number. I have been very careless with this Balckberry phone, shoving it in my pocket, my golf bag, or my fanny pack as I ride my motorcycle. I have known that I was butt dialing people but did not worry about it figuring everybidy did it.
My questions is; how did I come up as unknow caller to her phone after butt dialing her, and my name coming after the first butt dial?
Please help as I did not intend doing this to her. I have only recenlty found out that I could have been locking my keyboard down.
thanks in advance for your time.
When Apple unveiled the iPhone 4S on October 4, Siri was seen as the new iDevice’s biggest selling point and a major carrot to encourage iPhone 4 owners to upgrade. Although Siri originally appeared in the App Store in early 2010 before being acquired by Apple, the assumption was that the new version integrated into iOS 5 relied on the faster processor found in the iPhone 4S for Siri to work her voice recognition magic. Developer Steven Troughton-Smith and Grant Paul have proven that is not the case by not only getting Siri working on an iPhone 4, but also an iPod touch 4G. ..

While just about everyone is familiar with home pregnancy testing kits, what many of us may not realize is that a (sort of) equivalent product exists for men – home sperm count kits. These kits, however, will simply tell users if their sperm count is above or below a standard value. While a yes or no answer like that might suffice for the pregnancy kits, a little more information would definitely help a man who suspects he might be infertile. Loes Segerink, a PhD student from The Netherlands’ University of Twente, hopes to change that with this prototype lab-on-a-chip device. Segerink’s chip counts exactly how many sperm are present in a sample of ejaculate, and can even differentiate between the good swimmers and the duds…

Android conspiracy theories? They go all the way to the top — or will soon, thanks to the US Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The department has given the green light to use Dell’s Mobile Security for Android platform on defense networks. The testing process utilized the Dell Streak, because apparently being giant is an important part of national security.

In the past decade a line has been drawn in the sand in most major cities. Tax revenues from cigarettes are higher than ever, and most bars and restaurants no longer allow smoking within their confines. The days of smoking being the social norm are quickly turning into times when those lighting-up are viewed as an outcast minority, and when it comes to quitting, the evidence is clear that it’s not just the smokers themselves who stand to benefit…

Last week we received an official blog post from Google about the new and revamped Google TV 3.1 and now it’s rolling out to Sony Internet TV’s as we speak. It’s not completely vanilla Google TV running on Sony Internet TV, they’ve added a few apps of their own, included the famous app called TrackID. I doubt the use of a Shazam competitor on a TV but it’s cool nevertheless. Press Release below.
